Lead, Gross to Net Americas, Global Rare Diseases Date: Jul 20, 2026 Job Type: Direct Employee Business Area: Accounting/Finance & Control Contract Type: Permanent Location: Boston, MA, US This is what you will do The Lead, Gross-To-Net (GTN), Global Rare Diseases is responsible for the integrity and strategic direction of GTN forecasting, reporting and management of accrued financial reserves in US. This high impact role will also be responsible for the development and implementation of strategic, cross-functional business cases, ensuring alignment with global commercialization strategies for the full Chiesi GRD portfolio (8-10 reimbursed products). Reporting to the VP of Market Access for the Americas, this role will be the subject matter expert for GTN modeling, scenario planning, and forecasting in partnership with FP&A, Market Access, Patient Services and Government Pricing. You will undertake various modelling and scenario planning analyses to drive financial accuracy in alignment with FP&A cycles for budgeting and forecasting. This role is critical to integrating the dynamics of the marketplace and government policies into financial performance. As a leader within the Market Access team, you will also assist in building commercial payer business cases related to the optimization of our contracting strategy through the formulation of insights and assumptions for the GRD portfolio. This will require an extensive knowledge of Chiesi’s HUB services, trade & distribution strategy, and the reimbursement landscape for various therapeutics areas. This is a strategic and management role leveraging your understanding of the global and US health care systems, competitive insights, and clinical understanding, to determine opportunities where we can drive value for Chiesi and our patients. You’ll be responsible for: Own the GTN forecasting cycle in partnership with Chiesi USA’s GTN team in Cary, North Carolina by providing critical assumptions pertaining to payer mix, pricing, commercial and government (Medicaid/Medicare) rebates, copay programs and trade discounts through the analysis of data from multiple sources for rare portfolio. Conduct financial modeling of commercial/government contracting proposals on pricing and reimbursement for GRD products, providing routine updates at leadership forums to guide insightful decisions. Lead the development of county pricing proposals and strategic market access business cases for Chiesi’s Rare Diseases portfolio in the USA, LATAM and Canada. Lead cross-functional projects with stakeholders from FP&A, Market Access Strategy & HEOR, Patient Services, and Analytics to provide better insights on claims/rebate data integrity, evaluate payer mix/GTN analogues for new product launches/lifecycle, and effectiveness of our specialty pharmacy/hub offerings. Engage with key stakeholders from the GRD Commercial brand teams, Patient Support Services, Finance and the Analytics team to address market access questions pertinent to business needs. Own the reporting of GTN performance, drivers and scorecards, providing insights and recommendations to the GRD Leadership Team to optimize GTN for the GRD portfolio of products. Responsible for the monitoring and reporting of contract effectiveness, utilizing pre- and post- deal modeling. Partner with key stakeholders to ensure accurate rebate and discount forecasts. Contribute to the development of specific market access strategies and monitor country implementation with regional/global stakeholders within US, LATAM & Canada, ensuring GRD objectives are protected in launch & maximizes the value for our patients. Support the development of materials for the US Pricing Committee to secure the approval of the respective business cases. Actively monitor for changes to the modus operandi in the healthcare marketspace, monitoring pricing and access trends such as 340B policies, threats & opportunities, and present findings to senior management as required. Coordinate and oversee projects with external consultants as needed. Communicate frequently and effectively with GRD leadership and other identified stakeholders on the progress of existing and new initiatives. You will need to have 12+ years of US pharmaceutical industry experience with increasing responsibilities preferably in a Commercial or Market Access function. 4+ years of experience in developing US pricing, reimbursement and contracting strategies. Proven track record of designing and implementing business cases that translates channel pricing and reimbursement strategies into reality. Experienced in leading and managing cross-functional teams and working closely with senior management. Excellent working knowledge of the evolving US Pricing & Reimbursement dynamics, with understanding of the US health system environment (e.g., Integrated Delivery Networks, Specialty Pharmacies, Mail Order/Retail Pharmacies, 340B Contract Pharmacies) for specialty, rare and transformative therapies. Working knowledge and familiarity with syndicated Market Access databases such as IQVIA, MMIT and other pricing/reporting tools such as Model N, pricing compendia and 852/867 datasets. Experience leading a cross-functional team or initiative is required, with the ability to influence decision-makers through insightful analysis and persuasive communication. Strong analytical and business acumen – intellectual curiosity and ability to structure problems, diagnose issues and triangulate with multiple approaches while keeping sight of the “big picture”. Self-directed and confident, with ability to contribute to shared commitment and goals to achieve high standards of performance. Ability to successfully manage multiple tasks and cross-functional stakeholders with a high attention to detail, while navigating changing priorities or timelines. Proficient in MS Office, specifically Excel. Additional experience working with analysis or other data reporting tools preferred (such as QlikView or PowerBI). Location Hybrid position based in Boston, MA office. Compensation The annual base pay for this position ranges from $181,140 to $225,060. Hourly and salaried non-exempt employees will also be paid overtime pay when working qualifying overtime hours. Base pay offered may vary depending on multiple individualized factors, including market location, job-related knowledge, skills, and experience.
