Registered Nurse - ICU

Job Summary:
Seeking an experienced ICU Registered Nurse licensed in New York to provide specialized patient care in a critical care setting. The ideal candidate will be proficient with EPIC charting and capable of managing complex cases with a high level of professionalism.

Responsibilities:

• Assess and monitor critically ill patients with conditions such as sepsis, ARDS, renal failure, and cardiac issues.
• Administer medications and treatments according to physician orders and hospital protocols.
• Utilize EPIC electronic medical records to document patient progress and interventions accurately.
• Collaborate with interdisciplinary teams to develop and implement individualized care plans.
• Respond to patient emergencies promptly, including respiratory failure and multi-organ failure.
• Float between patients as needed, providing exceptional care under high-pressure situations.

Qualifications:

• Active NY registered nursing license in hand required.
• Minimum of 1 year ICU experience in a fast-paced hospital environment.
• Proficiency in EPIC charting system essential.
• Strong critical thinking and clinical skills, with the ability to manage multiple complex cases.
• Ability to work 12-hour night shifts and adapt to floating responsibilities.
• Must meet travel compliance standards, with no more than 10 days of RTO.
