Job Description

The Physical Therapist (PT) evaluates all assigned patients and develops, implements, and modifies treatment plans according to the patient's needs, goals, and physician direction. The PT is responsible for delegating and directing all discipline-specific therapy services for those assigned patients. The role emphasizes creating functional treatment programs to facilitate effective return to community activities.

Responsibilities

• Conduct comprehensive evaluations of assigned patients.
• Utilize clinical reasoning to develop appropriate treatment plans and goals.
• Complete medical record documentation accurately and timely.
• Participate in student programs by providing learning environments and evaluations.
• Create and pursue individual professional development plans.
• Adhere to regulatory standards and maintain licensure in good standing.
• Engage in performance improvement initiatives and provide constructive feedback.

Required Experience / Certifications / Licensure

• Degree in Physical Therapy from an accredited school.
• Minimum of 6 months to 1 year of outpatient clinical experience.
• Current CPR Certification.
• Valid state licensure as a Physical Therapist.
