Outpatient Physical Therapist - 5x8 Shift

Job Description

We are seeking a dedicated Outpatient Physical Therapist to evaluate and implement effective treatment plans tailored to patients’ needs and goals. Join our team for a fulfilling role in outpatient care, focusing on delivering superior quality and ensuring patient safety.

Responsibilities

• Conduct comprehensive evaluations of assigned patients.
• Develop, implement, and modify individualized treatment plans in accordance with physician directions.
• Ensure appropriate documentation of patient care, including goal writing and necessary medical records.
• Provide guidance and direction for discipline-specific therapy services.
• Participate in educational efforts for patients, families, and students.
• Adhere to compliance and safety standards in the workplace.
• Engage in continuous professional development and adherence to state practice regulations.

Required Experience / Certifications / Licensure

• Degree in Physical Therapy from an accredited school.
• Minimum of 6 months to 1 year of outpatient clinical experience is required.
• Current CPR certification is required.
• Maintaining professional licensure in good standing is essential.

Schedule

This position is a 5x8 shift format, with evaluations scheduled for 60 minutes followed by 30-minute follow-ups.

Assignment Duration

This is a 13-week contract position.
