Minimum Requirements

• Bachelor's, Master's, or Doctoral degree in Physical Therapy from an accredited program approved by the APTA.
• Active Colorado Physical Therapist license required to start the assignment.
• BLS certification required from the American Heart Association or American Red Cross.
• Outpatient physical therapy experience required, including evaluations and 60-minute initial evaluations with subsequent 30-minute follow-ups.
• Experience with documentation, goal writing, letters of medical necessity, and charge entry in compliance with state and federal guidelines.
• Demonstrated competency in safe patient handling and materials handling procedures.
• Ability to supervise and delegate to therapy assistants and students. Participation in student clinical education preferred.
• Maintain professional licensure in good standing and meet state-mandated continuing education requirements.
• Preferred: prior experience working in a high-volume outpatient clinic and familiarity with clinic performance improvement initiatives.

Assignment Details

• Facility type: Outpatient clinic.
• Duration: 13-week assignment with possibility of extension based on client preference for longer contract.
• Schedule: 5x8 shift pattern (five shifts per week, eight hours per shift).
• Patient visit structure: 60-minute evaluations and 30-minute follow-ups.
