Responsibilities Prepare, analyze, and explain historical and projected financial information Coordinate and perform business due diligence and execute M&A transactions Prepare marketing materials, confidential information presentations, management presentations, and other presentations as needed Perform valuation and ad hoc financial analyses Assist in the marketing and execution of existing engagements Build relationships and maintain direct contact with clients, prospective clients, and professional advisors Communicate effectively with all members of the team, including the supervision and mentoring of junior staff members Qualifications Strong academic track record 3-5 years of investment banking experience within either an M&A generalist or industry team Solid understanding of the sell-side M&A process, with proven experience in successfully closing deals Fundamental understanding of financial valuation methodologies and applications Advanced financial modeling and analytical abilities; strong LBO and DCF modeling skills Strong qualitative and quantitative research skills Understanding of financial statements analysis with the ability to work through key assumptions, implicit caveats, and limitations Excellent verbal and written communication skills in English are essential Advanced knowledge of Excel Independent thinker and resourceful problem solver Strong work ethic, organizational skills, and ability to multitask Motivated and demonstrated ability to work cooperatively with all levels of staff in a rapidly changing, demanding, but ultimately rewarding environment Ability to work independently in a fast-paced environment Compensation and Benefits Competitive total compensation package, which may include discretionary incentive compensation Estimated salary range for this role at the time of posting: $175,000 (actual salary may vary based on qualifications, experience, and location) Competitive benefits package; current benefits offerings can be found here: 2026 Benefits We are an equal opportunity employer and all qualified applicants will receive consideration for employment without regard to race, color, religion, sex, national origin, disability, gender identity, sexual orientation, protected veteran status, or any other characteristic protected by law. #J-18808-Ljbffr US.020 Houlihan Lokey Financial Advisors, Inc.
