With competitive compensation, great office locations, and a people-first culture that champions continuous learning, you'll have everything you need to thrive and kick-start your career.About Your ProgramYou'll be joining the JD Young (JDY) Internship Program, designed to give early-career talent hands-on exposure to real projects, real responsibilities, and real growth. Over 6 months, you'll work alongside experienced teams, build fundamental skills, and gain insights into how a global business operates.This internship provides hands-on experience in full-cycle HR operations within a high-volume logistics environment, supporting 200-250 employees across multiple California sites.Hands on HR - Act as the primary HR support for 2-3 warehouses in one of our California sites, shadowing the HR lead as your mentor and support.Assist in managing full-cycle HR processes, including recruitment administration, onboarding, and documentation for performance management and offboarding.Review and reconcile employee timecards, ensuring accurate attendance tracking and related compliance matters.Support the handling of employee relations issues and conflict resolution by documenting investigations in partnership with leadership.Provide initial HR guidance to managers and employees on company policies, procedures, and basic compliance with federal and state regulations.About YouGraduated or currently enrolled in Human Resources, Business Administration, or a related fieldChinese Mandarin speaking is a plus (but not essential)Strong interpersonal, organizational, and written/verbal communication skills.Detail-oriented with a proactive approach to learning and task completion.Comfortable using Microsoft Office (Excel, Word, Outlook); ability to learn new systems such as HRIS, ERP, and payroll/timekeeping systems.Note We are unable to provide H1B sponsorship.
