** JOB SUMMARY: ** Responsible for managing and executing purchasing activities specifically tailored to support our radiator manufacturing operations. This role requires a thorough understanding of supply chain management, vendor relations, and inventory control to ensure timely and cost-effective acquisition of materials and components.

RESPONSIBILITIES:

• Source and procure raw materials, components, and services required for radiator manufacturing, ensuring compliance with company standards and regulatory requirements.
• Negotiate terms, pricing, and delivery schedules with suppliers to secure favorable contract conditions.
• Collaborate closely with engineering, production, sales, and quality assurance teams to understand material specifications and project timelines.
• Monitor supplier performance, maintain strong vendor relationships, and conduct regular evaluations to ensure reliability and quality.
• Maintain accurate purchasing records, prepare purchase orders, and track deliveries to optimize inventory levels and minimize production downtime.
• Analyze market trends and material costs to recommend cost-saving initiatives and identify alternative sourcing options.
• Ensure all procurement activities comply with legal, ethical, and company policies, including California state regulations.
• Support internal audits and participate in continuous improvement initiatives within the procurement process.

** REQUIREMENTS: **

• Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration, Supply Chain Management, or related field preferred. Equivalent experience considered.
• Minimum of 5 years of purchasing or procurement experience, preferably within the manufacturing industry.
• Strong knowledge of procurement principles, contract negotiation, and vendor management.
• Familiarity with radiator manufacturing processes and materials is a plus.
• Excellent organizational, communication, and interpersonal skills.
• Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite, Microsoft Dynamics GP, and purchasing/procurement software systems.
• Ability to analyze data and make informed purchasing decisions under tight deadlines.
• Knowledge of relevant California state laws and regulations affecting procurement activities.
