PROGRAM ANALYST

Summary You will serve as a Program Analyst in the Supply Management Department of NAVSUP FLT LOGISTICS CNTR SAN DIEGO. Duties As a Program Analyst, you will: Assist with annual budgets and process procurement requirements. Analyze procurement data and develop recommendations for potential cost savings. Provide technical advice and assistance on submitting procurement requirements. Prepare purchase requests utilizing the appropriate procurement method, to include government purchase card, contract, project order, work order, or standard stock system. Ensure all renewal contracts, services, and leases do not have a break in service between fiscal years, or result in unauthorized commitments. Review and certify invoices, ensuring that billings are attributed to the proper funding source (GS-09 only). Qualifications (GS-07) At least one year of specialized experience equivalent to GS-05 or pay band in the federal service, or equivalent experience in private or public sector, specifically: Assist with annual budgets and process procurement requirements.
