Paralegal

A Charleston law firm is seeking an experienced Corporate Paralegal to join its corporate practice. This is an in-office position ideal for a paralegal with at least 5 years of corporate experience who is comfortable supporting attorneys through entity formation, ongoing corporate maintenance, and transactional closings. Key Responsibilities Form corporations, LLCs, partnerships, and other business entities, including preparing and filing organizational documents. Handle ongoing entity maintenance , including annual filings, amendments, resolutions, consents, and corporate records. Assist attorneys with corporate and transactional matters from formation through closing. Prepare, organize, and finalize closing binders following completed transactions. Maintain corporate minute books, entity records, and organizational documents. Coordinate filings and obtain certificates of good standing and other corporate documentation as needed. Qualifications 5+ years of corporate paralegal experience , preferably within a law firm. Strong experience with entity formation and corporate governance/maintenance. Experience supporting transactional closings and preparing closing binders. Highly organized with strong attention to detail and the ability to manage multiple matters and deadlines.
