Role Responsibilities

• Create Tailored Treatment Plans: Assess patients' needs and construct personalized therapy strategies to assist them in reaching their functional aspirations.
• Implement Therapeutic Techniques: Apply evidence-based methodologies to bolster patients' motor abilities, cognitive skills, and daily living functions.
• Collaborate with a Diverse Team: Work side by side with OTs, PTs, STs, physicians, and nursing staff to deliver well-rounded, comprehensive care.
• Educate Patients and Families: Provide instruction to patients and their families on effective therapy techniques to support continual progress at home.
• Document and Oversee Progress: Track clinical results and modify treatment plans as necessary to keep patients on their path to recovery.

Qualifications

• Master's degree in Occupational Therapy from an accredited institution.
• Ongoing education or additional post-graduate certifications are encouraged and supported.

Licenses and Certifications

• Current Occupational Therapist (OTR/L) licensure.
• NBCOT certification is mandatory.
