Focus Workforce Management is looking for a full time 1st & 2nd Shift Seat assembler in Athens, AL.
Responsibilities:
- Assemble components and parts into complete units using hand tools and precision measuring equipment (e.g. saws, drills, calipers, etc).
- Use hand tools to cut/trim and assemble parts, or use precision measuring equipment (e.g. calipers, caliper gauges, etc) to measure components accurately.
- Check the quality of parts being manufactured by inspecting the units being produced against specifications and comparing units to plans and specifications as needed.
- Checking that the required materials are being used in the required quantities at the required location at the required time.
Requirements:
- A minimum of 1 year of assembly experience is preferred (preferably in metal fabrication).
- Good understanding of basic math concepts such as addition, subtraction, multiplication, division etc.
- Good hand tool skills using hand drills, saws and other hand tools. Using precision measuring equipment (e.g. calipers, drills etc.) is also a plus.
