Job Description Summary: The Assistant Superintendent will be responsible for the supervision successful project completion. This role is located full-time on a jobsite in Flagstaff, AZ. Specific location details and expectations will be discussed during the interview process.

Job Description: *This job description reflects management's assignment of essential functions; it does not prescribe or restrict the tasks that may be assigned Position Responsibilities and Duties: Assist the Superintendent in managing and coordinating field construction activities, providing direction to crews and subcontractors to ensure safe and productive work. Support recruitment, onboarding, training, and coordination of field personnel, helping to reinforce a culture of safety, teamwork, and quality. Maintain positive relationships with Owners, Engineers, subcontractors, and internal teams through professional communication and reliable follow-through. Enforce SOLV Energy safety policies and participate in all required safety training; help ensure compliance with OSHA, NFPA 70E, NEC, and company standards. Monitor work quality by performing inspections and audits; verify that construction activities follow plans, specifications, and SOLV Energy requirements. Assist in planning and managing materials, tools, and equipment needs; track deliveries and help prevent delays or reactive (“crisis”) purchasing. Support the development and maintenance of project schedules (CPM) by communicating progress, identifying potential delays, and coordinating with the Superintendent and Project Management. Review drawings, specifications, and subcontractor submittals to support project readiness and field execution. Participate in pre-job meetings, daily huddles, subcontractor coordination meetings, and site walk-throughs to align teams on expectations and progress. Prepare and maintain accurate project documentation, including daily logs, time sheets, work orders, and invoice approvals. Assist in documenting, tracking, and completing punch-list items to support timely project close-out. Support start-up testing, commissioning, and turnover activities; assist in preparing close-out packages and ensuring Owner acceptance. Work with supervisory personnel, subcontractors, designers, and owners to help resolve field issues, interpret plans, and improve work processes. Perform additional responsibilities and duties as assigned by the Superintendent or project leadership. Minimum Skills or Experience Requirements: Engineering, construction management, or architectural degree, or equivalent experience (2-4 years as General Foreman) Field construction experience at a supervisory level Experience in utility-scale solar projects. Knowledge of construction methods, practices, regulations, and safety standards, including OSHA, NFPA 70E, and NEC. Strong knowledge of job scheduling, planning, expediting, and cost control. Working knowledge of all trades, with the ability to read and understand specifications for all crafts. Experience conducting constructability reviews and coordinating with estimating teams to develop accurate project cost estimates. Strong problem-solving skills and a sense of urgency. Excellent leadership, communication, and interpersonal skills, with the ability to build and motivate high-performing teams.
