About the Role
The Company is seeking a Vice President for Loan Operations to play a key role in the seamless management of bank debt and leveraged loan transactions. The successful candidate will be responsible for the end-to-end servicing of bank loan assets, including trade instruction capture and settlement, as well as overseeing various lifecycle events such as paydowns, drawdowns, and interest rate resets. Proactive and efficient resolution of transaction exceptions, collaboration with cross-functional teams to address queries, and the implementation of new procedures are also integral to the position. The role involves assisting in the testing and implementation of system improvements, making it essential for the candidate to be a strategic problem solver with strong analytical and organizational skills. Applicants for this role at the company should have a Bachelor's degree in finance, accounting, or economics, with a minimum of 7 years' direct experience and a strong understanding of bank debt and distressed loans. Proficiency in SS&C Geneva and Murex is preferred, with a requirement for familiarity with Bloomberg. The ideal candidate will be an exceptional communicator, capable of managing multiple priorities, and will be part of a dynamic environment where their expertise will directly impact the efficiency of loan operations.
