Be part of the best Construction team… You might be the one we are looking for – Scraper Operator Duties and Responsibilities Operate scrapers to move earth, gravel, and other materials on construction sites Perform routine maintenance on scrapers Follow safety procedures and guidelines to prevent accidents and injuries Perform any other duties related to the job site Regular attendance required Will travel and must supply own transportation Minimum Knowledge, Skills and Abilities Required Work environment characteristics described here are representative of those that must be met by an employee to successfully perform the essential functions of this job. Reasonable accommodations may be made to enable individuals with disabilities to perform the essential functions. 3+ years of experience within the construction industry High School Diploma or GED Basic understanding of English to read and understand work instructions and safety information Must be able to follow directions Ability to meet physical demands of the job, including walking, bending, pushing, pulling, lifting, sitting, squatting, and occasionally lifting up to 25 pounds Must be available for work 5am – 6pm Monday through Saturdays Exposure to machines, chemicals, and high noise level during duties
