The position is responsible for preparing and reviewing all types of transactions in compliance with approved budgets and University/department procedures, preparation of appropriate reports as needed for analysis, corresponding with other departments concerning accounting and financial information, and determining proper handling of financial transactions in accordance with Generally Accepted Accounting Principles (GAAP) and approving within designated limits, policies or contracts.Minimum Qualifications - 1. Bachelor's degree in Accounting from an accredited institutionPreferred Qualifications - 1. Masters degree in Accounting2.
