Work in a clean environment and discover opportunities for advancement. Working Schedule 6:00AM-4:30PM Monday-Thursday with up to 75% Friday OT required. Summary Assists the department with welding and fabricating steel structural frames and sheet metal frames for environmental test chambers. Essential Duties and Responsibilities Grinds, cuts, and copes steel. Fabricates steel. Builds sheet metal frames, steel frames, and solid floor systems. Assists with job set up. Performs TIG and MIG welding. Welds aluminum ramps and grating to stainless steel. Deciphers build sequence. Reads and interprets blueprints. Daily use of hand and power tools. Cleans work area, machines, tools, and equipment. Regular physical attendance is required. Performs other routine duties as assigned. Welding certificate required. Skills and Experience 5 years of MIG and TIG welding experience required. Ability to read a tape measure required. Ability to read and interpret prints required. Ability to add, subtract, multiply and divide required. Basic computer skills preferred.
