Preferred candidates will have: Active Speech-Language Pathologist licensure in New Jersey Experience within school-based settings (elementary, middle, and high schools) Strong communication and rapport-building skills with students, staff, and families Ability to develop effective, individualized therapy plans Collaborative approach and flexibility across age groups and teams Commitment to maintaining confidentiality, compliance, and accurate documentation Key responsibilities include: Providing direct and consultative speech and language services to students with a variety of needs Developing and implementing individualized education program (IEP) goals in line with student assessments Meeting regularly with teachers, counselors, and parents to support student progress and advocate for inclusive practices Maintaining timely, compliant records and progress notes Helping identify innovative solutions to maximize student growth in communication skills Supporting students from diverse backgrounds as they gain confidence and reach educational milestones Working within this supportive, multi-school environment allows you to broaden your skills and make a measurable impact on students in your community.
