- The Patient Services Representative I (PSR I) serves as the primary point of contact for patients, helping create a welcoming and professional environment.
- This role is responsible for collecting quality blood specimens, preparing samples for laboratory testing, and ensuring accurate patient information while following established procedures and confidentiality standards.
- Perform daily activities accurately and within established timelines under the direction of the area supervisor.
- Maintain a safe, clean, and professional work environment.
- Collect and process clinical and forensic specimens following established procedures.
- Draw blood specimens safely and accurately from pediatric, geriatric, and adult patients.
- Prepare specimens for laboratory testing and maintain required documentation and records.
- Promote a positive image with patients, clients, employees, and the public.
- Demonstrate professionalism, organizational commitment, and strong customer service skills.
