Title
Registered Nurse - Emergency Department

Schedule
Weekend: Every other weekend coverage required

Requirements
- Minimum 2 years clinical RN experience
- RN licensure in the state or Compact license required
- Certifications: ACLS, BLS, NIHSS, PALS
- Epic experience required
- Preferred experience in Trauma Level I or II and community hospital setting

Roles & Responsibilities
- Provide high-quality emergency care to patients of all ages, including infants, pediatrics, adolescents, adults, and geriatrics.
- Conduct emergency triage and general emergency department care.
- Manage care for ventilated patients and monitor vital signs.
- Administer IV vasopressors and continuous IV sedation as required.
- Interpret and manage dysrhythmias and arterial blood gas results.
- Implement isolation precautions and utilize personal protective equipment as necessary.

Compliance / Notes
- Orientation: 24 hours (non-billable orientation hours may vary)
- Requests for time off (RTO) are limited to a maximum of 7 days per contract.
- All compliance documents are due by the Tuesday prior to start.
- Travelers expected to work major holidays per policy.
