Pet Photography & Marketing

We are looking for volunteers to help take photos and videos of our shelter dogs & cats. Updated photos & videos aid in shelter animals going home much quicker! Please only sign up for one shift. Our Volunteer Team will then contact you to help get you officially scheduled. Please do not come to the shelter until you have been contacted and scheduled. We are currently seeking volunteers to assist with photographing and filming our shelter dogs and cats. Updated visuals significantly contribute to these animals finding loving homes more quickly! Volunteers must be at least 12 years old to participate. Those under 15 years old must be accompanied by a parent or guardian who is at least 18 years old. To begin, you'll need to register for a volunteer account and fulfill a few initial requirements. There is a $15 volunteer fee per person to help cover the initial expenses associated with onboarding new volunteers. Once these steps are completed, you'll be eligible to enroll in an Orientation session, during which you'll receive further training and details. The process to become a volunteer is as follows: Express your interest through Voly. You will then be contacted with a link to complete a SPCA of Texas volunteer application. Upon completing the application, you will need to fulfill a few initial steps. After your initial steps are completed, you should have access through your volunteer account to see and sign up for Orientations.
