This course introduces students to:* The terminology and techniques to identify the species and environmental characteristics of natural resources, especially as represented in Colorado.* The quantification of these factors including data collection and analysis, and* Evaluating conditions of natural resource condition and making management decisions.The general topics of this course include the Human Dimensions of Natural Resources, Forestry, Range, Fish, Wildlife & Conservation Biology, and Watershed Science. To meet the needs of this class, applicants should have expertise in, at least, one of these fields of study.The posting is open until filled. Position will be full-time for between 2 weeks and 3 months starting mid-May through mid-August.## Description of Work Unit:The position will be housed in the Warner College of Natural Resources. The college has 5 departments that offer innovative programs in: Human Dimensions of Natural Resources, Geosciences, Forest and Rangeland Stewardship, Fish, Wildlife, and Conservation Biology, and Ecosystem Science and Sustainability.Founded in 1870, Colorado State University is among the nation’s leading research universities and enrolls approximately 32,000 undergraduate, graduate, and professional students.
