Exciting opportunities await speech-language pathologists interested in supporting students for the 2026/2027 school year! Two full-time positions are available for skilled SLP professionals who want to make a real difference in a school-based setting near Port Charlotte, FL. If you are seeking a dynamic contract role within a welcoming educational community, this could be the perfect fit.
We are seeking both Clinical Fellows (CFY) and ASHA CCC-certified SLPs who are passionate about providing evaluation, intervention, and ongoing support to school-aged children. On-site candidates are required at this time, and travel professionals are encouraged to apply.
What You’ll Need:
- Master’s degree in Speech-Language Pathology
- Active Florida SLP license (or eligibility)
- Either ASHA CCC certification or CFY status
- Prior school-based experience preferred, but strong new graduates will be considered
- Excellent communication and organizational skills
- Commitment to working with a diverse student population
- Flexibility and reliability in a fast-paced educational setting
Your Key Responsibilities:
- Deliver direct speech and language therapy services to a caseload of K-12 students
- Conduct assessments and assist with development of IEP goals and documentation
- Collaborate with teachers, staff, and families to support student success
- Participate in IEP meetings and multidisciplinary teams
- Maintain accurate therapy records and progress notes
- Provide consultative support to educational staff as needed
