As a Patrol Unarmed Officer at a retail mall location, you will monitor and patrol assigned areas, maintain a visible presence to help deter security-related incidents, and provide outstanding customer service and communication. This driving post requires a valid driver’s license. Position Type: Part Time / Day Shift Pay Rate: $21.50 / Hour Job Schedule: DayTimeSat10:00 AM - 06:30 PMSun10:00 AM - 06:30 PM What You'll Do: Provide customer service to tenants, visitors, shoppers, and client representatives by carrying out security-related procedures, site-specific policies, and emergency response activities when appropriate. Respond to incidents, disturbances, and critical situations in a calm, professional, problem-solving manner, coordinating with site contacts and emergency responders as needed. Conduct regular and random unarmed patrols of retail common areas, building entrances, parking areas, loading zones, and perimeter locations to help identify and report unusual activity or property concerns. Monitor access points and observe activity throughout the location, reporting security-related concerns, maintenance issues, and policy violations in accordance with site procedures. Prepare clear, accurate reports and maintain required documentation for incidents, patrol activities, and daily shift observations. Minimum Requirements: A valid driver’s license is required in accordance with Allied Universal driver policy requirements. Ability to lift up to 20 lbs is preferred. Comfortable using a computer or tablet is preferred. Customer service experience is preferred. Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles. Possess a high school diploma or equivalent. As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
