Job Description As a Security Officer Unarmed Patrol Driver Customer Service in Irvine, CA , you will serve and safeguard clients in a range of industries such as Retail/Malls, and more. As an Unarmed Security Officer at a retail location, you will conduct routine vehicle and foot patrols, maintain a visible presence to help deter security-related incidents, and assist visitors with exceptional customer service and communication. This driving post requires a valid driver's license in accordance with Allied Universal driver policy. Position Type: Full Time / Late Evening Pay Rate: $22.00 / Hour Job Schedule DayTimeWed04:00 PM - 12:00 AMThur04:00 PM - 12:00 AMFri04:00 PM - 12:00 AMSat04:00 PM - 12:00 AM What You'll Do Provide customer service to tenants, visitors, and customers by carrying out site-specific security-related procedures, policies, and emergency response activities as appropriate. Conduct regular and random unarmed patrols throughout retail common areas, parking areas, and the property perimeter to help identify and report unusual activity or conditions. Respond to incidents, customer concerns, and critical situations in a calm, professional, problem-solving manner, following established post orders and escalation procedures. Monitor access points, observe activity throughout the location, and report security-related concerns to the appropriate personnel. Complete required daily activity reports, incident documentation, and shift communications accurately and promptly. Minimum Requirements At least one year of security-related experience is required. A valid driver’s license is required in accordance with Allied Universal driver policy requirements. A guard card or license is preferred. Customer service experience is preferred. Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles. Possess a high school diploma or equivalent. As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws. Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws. As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law. Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment. A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.
