Physical Therapist

The incumbent shall be responsible for providing a full range of Physical Therapy services including assessment, treatment planning and therapeutic interventions in an interdisciplinary environment consistent with the position's qualifications, professional practices and ethical standards. Key responsibilities include conducting Physical Therapy evaluations or screens, developing an individualized Plan of Care with functional goals, providing appropriate therapeutic interventions, evaluating patient response to treatment and modifying the plan as necessary, documenting the course of patient care including progress made and the continuing need for treatment, providing patient and/or family education to help achieve goals, communicating and demonstrating a professional image for patients, families, clients, coworkers, and others, adhering to policies, rules, and regulations from KHI, Arizona State Board of Physical Therapy, and Medicare, assisting with orientation of new staff as requested, meeting KHI requirements for skills competency and safety, participating in continuing education/professional development activities, assisting with the Physical Therapy and Physical Therapy Assistant student program, participating in staff meetings, client relation and marketing activities.
