Remote Volunteer Sponsor Outreach Specialist — Legacy Lounge

With your generosity, we fund youth empowerment programs that provide underserved youth and young people with a safe place to call home, a family that loves them, a feeling of community, and opportunities to learn, build self-esteem, and have fun. Help Believe in Me identify and engage values-aligned sponsors for Legacy Lounge educational events and donor-engagement activities supporting underserved youth and young people. We are seeking volunteer Sponsor Outreach Specialists to research prospects, send approved introductions, coordinate conversations, and maintain organized follow-up. Responsibilities Research businesses, professional firms, associations, and community partners aligned with event goals Identify appropriate contacts and maintain accurate source and outreach records Use approved sponsorship materials, benefits, recognition language, and pricing Coordinate discovery calls, proposals, questions, commitments, invoices, and handoffs Track outreach, responses, next steps, deadlines, benefits, and fulfillment Avoid promising exclusivity, tax treatment, donor data, endorsements, or unapproved benefits Collaborate with development, events, marketing, professional-advisor, and stewardship teams Protect sponsor and donor information Qualifications Experience in sponsorships, partnerships, business development, fundraising, sales, events, or community outreach Strong research, professional writing, relationship-building, organization, and follow-through Comfort initiating remote outreach and documenting activity in CRM or spreadsheets Ability to use approved offers and elevate negotiations appropriately Existing business or professional networks are helpful but not required This is a remote, recurring volunteer role available within the United States. Expect approximately 3-6 hours per month.
