Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Education, Special Education, or Visual Impairments, active Teacher of the Visually Impaired certification and 1+ years Teacher of the Visually Impaired experience required. Applicants who do not meet these qualifications will not be considered.

This full-time role invites a dedicated Teacher of the Visually Impaired (TVI) to provide virtual instruction and support, helping students unlock their fullest potential.

As a Voco TVI, you’ll work closely with the district’s special education team to design and deliver services, ensuring each student receives tailored instruction. The district values aligning candidates’ expertise and preferences with caseload assignments, so you will have the chance to discuss your strengths and preferred age groups directly during the interview process. Accurate documentation is a key aspect of this position; daily service logs are required to ensure continuity and accountability in student support.

Desired Qualifications & Experience:

• Valid Georgia Educator Certificate specific to Teachers of the Visually Impaired (TVI)
• Recent, school-based experience teaching visually impaired students virtually
• Strong organizational and documentation skills for daily service logs
• Adaptability to varied age groups or classroom settings based on district needs
• Excellent communication and collaboration skills with students, families, and educational staff

Key Responsibilities:

• Deliver engaging, standards-based virtual instruction to students with visual impairments
• Participate in IEP meetings and collaborate with multidisciplinary teams
• Maintain up-to-date daily service logs and progress records
