About the Role
The Company is seeking a Vice President of Technology to play a pivotal role in defining and leading the enterprise technology strategy. This hands-on executive will be responsible for aligning technology with the organization's long-term growth plans, directing day-to-day IT operations, and overseeing regulated business systems and technology environments. A key focus of the role is to strengthen cybersecurity, manage the Microsoft 365 and cloud ecosystem, and establish data governance practices to enhance analytics and AI capabilities. The successful candidate will also be tasked with ensuring that IT practices and systems comply with regulatory standards, particularly in GxP-regulated environments. Applicants for the Vice President of Technology position at the company should have a minimum of 15 years' of progressive leadership experience in information technology, with a strong background in enterprise systems and operations. Experience in a highly regulated industry, such as biotechnology, pharmaceuticals, life sciences, or healthcare, is essential. The role requires expertise in Microsoft 365 Enterprise, cloud platforms like Azure, and a range of SaaS and enterprise applications. The ideal candidate will have a proven track record in cybersecurity, identity and access management, and business continuity planning, as well as the ability to lead complex IT initiatives and manage vendor relationships. Excellent leadership, communication, and stakeholder management skills are also a must, with the ability to influence executive and cross-functional teams.
