Team Lead

Overview Ben & Jerry's is hiring a Team Leader to join our Scoop Shop. The role focuses on leadership, customer service, ensuring tasks are completed, and supporting operating systems. The ideal candidate leads in a positive environment, has reliable transportation, and flexible hours. Salary: $13.00 - $15.00 per hour. Opportunities to earn additional income through tips. Job opportunities for Team Leader are generally offered as full time or part time positions in a restaurant setting. Prior experience in related leadership roles at fast-food or casual dining brands is highly desirable. Responsibilities Provide leadership and customer service; ensure that tasks are completed fully and in accordance with operating procedures. Support and comply with all operating systems and store policies. Lead in a positive environment, adapt to a fast-paced, high-energy setting, and promote teamwork. Open to flexible scheduling, including days, nights, weekends, and holidays. Assist with training and guiding team members to maintain service standards and cleanliness. Qualifications Previous leadership or supervisory experience is preferred (e.g., shift lead, crew lead, supervisor, team lead, restaurant manager, etc.). A sense of community and willingness to volunteer for local non-profits is desirable. Ability to stand for long periods and perform physical tasks, including pushing, pulling, and lifting up to 20 lbs without assistance. Strong customer service skills and respectful communication with customers and team members. Reliable transportation and flexibility to work varied shifts.
