Facilities Manager at CBRE San Francisco, CA

About the Role As a CBRE Facilities Manager, you will manage a team responsible for overseeing building operations and maintenance for a facility, campus, or portfolio of small to medium sized buildings. This role is part of the Facilities Management functional area, focusing on all aspects of the operations of a set of assets and supporting Property Managers with repairs and investment plans. Responsibilities Provide formal supervision to employees, monitor training and development, conduct performance evaluations and coaching, and oversee recruiting and hiring. Schedule and manage the team's daily activities; establish work schedules, assign tasks, cross‑train staff, set and track staff and department deadlines, and mentor and coach as needed. Coordinate and manage facility repairs and maintenance by working with technicians, vendors, and contractors. Maintain positive client relationships and conduct meetings on unresolved facility issues. Perform facility inspections and quality assurance following local, state, and federal regulations; suggest operational efficiencies, repairs, and upgrade opportunities. Manage QHSE safety procedures for facilities. Oversee vendor relationships and invoicing procedures, review price quotes for procurement of parts, services, and labor for projects. Conduct process and procedure training on maintenance, repairs, and safety best practices. Issue work orders/POs for third‑party vendor work. Lead by example and model behaviors consistent with CBRE RISE values; influence parties of shared interests to reach an agreement. Apply knowledge of your discipline and how it integrates with others to achieve team and departmental objectives. Identify, troubleshoot, and resolve day‑to‑day and moderately complex issues that may not be evident in existing systems and processes. Other duties may be assigned. Qualifications Bachelor's Degree preferred with 3‑5 years of relevant experience (or a combination of experience and education considered). Facility Management certification preferred. Experience in staffing, selection, training, development, coaching, mentoring, measuring, appraising, and rewarding performance and retention. Ability to guide the exchange of sensitive, complicated, and difficult information, convey performance expectations, and handle problems. Leadership skills to motivate teams and impact quality, efficiency, and effectiveness of the job discipline and department. Extensive organizational skills with a strong inquisitive mindset. Advanced math skills, including the ability to calculate difficult figures such as percentages, fractions, and other financial‑related calculations. Salary Range The minimum salary for the Facilities Manager position is $62,500 annually and the maximum salary is $120,000 annually. Compensation offered will depend on the candidate's skills, qualifications, and experience.
