Dean is seeking a project marketing communications specialist to join our dynamic team. The position will operate as an embedded resource to support project communications for a nationwide Federal contract. The position reports functionally to Security & Electronic Systems Marketing & Communications business partner and operationally to the project lead. Responsibilities ROLES & RESPONSIBILITIES M.C. Dean operates in a highly-collaborative structure that requires each of us to support other members of the team responsible for driving high-priority initiatives. Project Communications: Promote project successes with senior client management and across the M.C. Dean project team through regular communications, reports, and documentation of project progress and milestones. Lead change management communications to promote, educate, and engage stakeholders around new systems and processes implemented on the client program. Translate abstract and technical concepts into visual communications for presentations and project deliverables. Craft and review communications products with project teams, including team reports, signage, and emergency notifications. Advance our customer’s reputation internally and externally. Coordinate the work of graphic designers on associated projects. Client Account Support & Integration: Supplement direct client engagement efforts and support communications and meetings between M.C. Dean and client leadership as part of the M.C. Dean client account management team. Develop and implement client-targeted marketing programs supporting new business capture and long-term positioning. Identify customer decision makers and influencers and pipeline opportunities. Support market research and analysis to identify opportunities early in the business development lifecycle. Manage and attend virtual and in-person client-, employee- and recruiting-focused tradeshows and events. Identify and successfully place/pitch leadership for speaking and conference participation opportunities. Facilitate new business presentations and customer demonstrations from conception through implementation. Develop and maintain print, digital, and multimedia marketing materials. Technical Writing: Support the project team members with drafting, editing, and submitting technical papers and white papers for client consumption. Client Reporting: Work with the client account leader and project teams to establish and track customer program- and project-level metrics. Gather quantitative and qualitative data to support client reporting requirements. Present findings and make recommendations for further action. Provide input for weekly, monthly, quarterly, and annual reports. Support specialized client reporting on an ongoing, as-need basis. Qualifications REQUIRED SKILLS/QUALIFICATIONS Bachelor's Degree in Business, Marketing, or Communications Minimum 2 years of experience in marketing and communications Excellent written communications skills with mastery of AP Style guidelines Experience managing integrated campaigns as an external or in-house consultant Mastery of Microsoft suite (Word, Excel, PowerPoint) and familiarity with Adobe Creative Suite (InDesign, Illustrator, Photoshop) Highly collaborative team player willing to jump in to support others on the team Must be adaptable and able to work in a fast-paced environment with tight deadlines, and creatively solve problems Organizational skills and attention to detail Demonstrated analytical skills with research experience Ability to interface with all levels of management Willingness to work more than 40 hours per week Ability to travel (10-20%) DESIRED EXPERIENCE Previous experience consulting for a professional services, technology or AEC firm Experience working with highly technical content and have the ability to tailor that information for both lay and specialized audiences Mastery of with Adobe Creative Suite (InDesign, Illustrator, Photoshop) Experience with data/statistical analysis tools Basic HTML and CSS a plus Master's degree a plus We offer an excellent benefits package including: A competitive salary Medical, dental, vision, life, and disability insurance Paid time off Tuition reimbursement 401k Retirement Plan Military Reserve pay offset Paid maternity leave Pay Range: $69,360 - $104,040 ABILITIES Exposure to computer screens for an extended period of time Sitting for extended periods of time.
