Leasing Consultant, Multifamily

Job Summary Leasing Consultant, Multifamily (Bilingual) – Village of Rowlett. The role is a key member of the onsite leasing team, responsible for engaging prospects and residents, achieving leasing goals, and maintaining a positive community experience. Responsibilities Generate interest in the community by touring the property with prospects and answering questions about amenities and local features. Drive the sale by highlighting community quality and lifestyle advantages of apartment homes. Assist prospects in qualifying for a home by collecting information and initiating background checks. Ensure apartments are prepared for move‑in and deliver unmatched resident service to exceed expectations and maintain retention. Plan, organize, and coordinate required office activities and paperwork related to apartment rentals. Support leasing staff activities, remain courteous and professional, and meet deadlines. Qualifications High School Diploma, GED, Trade, Technical, or Vocational school. 1+ years of related experience. Effective communication and customer service skills. Basic computer skills in a Windows environment. Professional, courteous, organized, and a team player. Follow all company policies and procedures. Physical Demands & Work Environment The position is performed in a professional office environment, with regular use of computers, phones, and office equipment. The employee must stand, walk, climb staircases, ladders, and step stools, and travel outside between buildings in varying weather conditions. Travel up to 5% of the time. Benefits & Compensation Compensation: $17.00 – $20.00 per hour. The company will not pay less than minimum wage for this role.
