Sr. Staff Accountant - Boston

Reporting to the Corporate Controller, this position will be the primary support person for both our Florida and India operations. This is a diverse accounting position with daily duties focusing primarily on Accounts Payable and Accounts Receivable. Ideal candidate for this role is a degreed accountant with experience in a professional services environment, with the ability to work independently and as part of a team environment. Duties This is a diverse role and the duties include: Manage end-to-end project lifecycle including data entry and labor hours transfers Full cycle A/P for Florida and India Assist with India financial statements Manage billing cycles including invoicing and collections Participate in collection meetings for Florida operation Update client communications in Deltek system Manage adjustments and billing for Florida inspection projects Provide support to the Controller with additional duties related to Florida and India operations Qualifications – Requires Bachelor’s degree in Accounting Minimum of 5 years accounting experience Excellent computer skills including all Microsoft office programs Minimum of 2 years experience with Deltek (or similar) accounting program Ability to work under deadline pressure Ability to exercise independent judgment Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal Qualifications – Prefer Prior experience in an Engineering or Architecture firm Anticipated Salary Range: $80,000 – 85,000 We are proud to offer a competitive salary + bonus package, comprehensive benefits including medical, dental, vision, life/disability, and an exceptional 401(k) plan. #J-18808-Ljbffr McNamara • Salvia, Structural Engineers
