Accounting ManagerThis role reports to the Close, Consolidations, and Reporting Controller and is responsible for leading a global team across the United States, Costa Rica, Malaysia, and Vietnam. The Accounting Manager will oversee Intel's consolidated monthly close and financial statement consolidations, ensuring accuracy, timeliness, and strong operational execution. The role also supports quarterly management reporting, with a focus on balance sheet and cash flow, and partners closely with External Reporting on SEC filings (10-Q and 10-K). This position plays a critical role in driving accountability, continuous improvement, and operational excellence across enterprise-wide close processes, and requires strong leadership, strategic thinking, and the ability to influence across a complex global organization.Key Responsibilities:Lead and manage global teams supporting close, consolidation, and reporting activitiesOversee the monthly financial close and ensure overall health and performance through defined KPIsManage the consolidation of financial statements and ensure accuracy and complianceDrive execution of quarterly management reporting (balance sheet and cash flow focus)Partner closely with External Reporting on SEC filings (10-Q and 10-K)Coordinate enterprise-wide close processes, ensuring strong accountability across FinanceAct as liaison with IT, assessing system impacts on close and coordinating communication of issuesDrive process improvements and transformation initiativesCollaborate across key stakeholders including Corporate Planning, Revenue, Treasury Accounting, Tax, and othersSupport engagement with external auditors on disclosures and accounting mattersPartner with Investor Relations and CFO Office during quarterly close cyclesBenchmark and implement best-in-class close and reporting practicesThis position is not eligible for Intel immigration sponsorship.QualificationsMinimum Qualifications:Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field10+ years of progressive corporate accounting or finance experience (7 + years with Masters), including experience in financial close, consolidations, and external reporting on SEC filings (10-Q and 10-K)3+ years of experience leading and managing direct and/or global teamsDeep understanding of U.S. GAAP and SEC reporting requirementsProven ability to influence across functionsStrong knowledge of financial systems and reporting architectureExcellent analytical, communication, and organizational skillsPreferred Qualifications:CPA and/or public accounting experience (strongly preferred)Experience working in a global, matrixed organizationAbility to drive process improvement and transformation initiativesThis position is not eligible for Intel immigration sponsorship.Job TypeExperienced HireShiftShift 1 (United States of America)Primary LocationUS, Oregon, HillsboroAdditional LocationsUS, Arizona, PhoenixBusiness GroupJoin Intel's Finance Group, a key player in driving strategic business decisions that enhance shareholder value.
