WHY THIS ROLE IS IMPORTANT:

Play a key role in the month‑end and year‑end close processes. Own GL maintenance, account reconciliations, accruals, and journal entries. Partner with Finance and other departments to ensure financial story is complete by addressing and resolving accounting‑related inquiries. Supervise a team of accountants – coach, support, and develop their growth. Analyze expense accounts, proactively identifying trends, discrepancies, and areas for cost optimization. Identify ways to automate, optimize, and improve financial operations. Coordinate with auditors and internal staff during financial statement and overhead audits. Support acquisition due diligence, data consolidation and integration activities, as needed.

THE BACKGROUND THAT FITS:

Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance (CPA preferred). 5+ years of progressive accounting experience within medium to large corporate environments. At least 2 years of leadership and people management experience. Solid understanding of US GAAP and sound internal controls. Tech‑savvy‑strong with Excel, ERP systems, BI analytics, workflow automation.
