Accounting Manager

Salary: USD100000 - USD110000 per year Location: Chandler, AZ Compensation: $100,000-$110,000 About the Opportunity A hospitality organization is seeking an experienced Accounting Manager to oversee day-to-day accounting operations and support the financial performance of a multi-location business. This position will play a key role in ensuring accurate financial reporting, maintaining internal controls, and partnering with operational leadership to drive profitability and informed decision-making. The ideal candidate combines strong accounting expertise with the ability to thrive in a service-oriented environment. Responsibilities Oversee general ledger accounting, month-end close, account reconciliations, and financial statement preparation. Manage accounts payable, accounts receivable, cash management, and fixed asset accounting activities. Prepare and analyze monthly financial results, budgets, forecasts, and variance reports for leadership. Ensure compliance with GAAP, company policies, and applicable tax and regulatory requirements. Support annual audits, oversee internal controls, and recommend process improvements. Partner with operations leaders to monitor labor costs, revenue trends, occupancy, and other key hospitality metrics. Mentor and develop accounting staff while helping scale accounting processes to support company growth. Qualifications Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field. 5+ years of progressive accounting experience, including supervisory or management responsibilities. Strong knowledge of GAAP, month-end close processes, financial reporting, and account reconciliations. Experience with ERP/accounting systems and advanced Excel skills; hospitality industry experience preferred.
