Job Opportunity – Bone Marrow Transplant / Hematology Oncology RN – Ohio

Start Date: November 2, 2026
Location: Columbus, Ohio
Compensation: Details provided to qualified applicants
Schedule: 12-hour rotating shifts (days/nights/combination); shift assignments reviewed every 4-week scheduling period based on departmental needs

Highlights:

• Specialized BMT unit serving mixed acuity progressive care and medical-surgical oncology patients with a 36-bed capacity
• Advanced specialty procedures including autologous, syngeneic, and allogeneic transplants, plus CAR-T therapy
• Patient population includes ALL, AML, CLL, Hodgkin's and Non-Hodgkin's lymphoma, multiple myeloma, and other hematologic malignancies
• Epic charting system with GE telemetry monitoring; comprehensive interdisciplinary support including interpretation services
• 72-hour orientation period with one pre-approved time off period available
• Float to other medical-surgical oncology units as needed

Requirements:

• Current RN license (Compact or Ohio state license required at submission)
• Minimum 1 year of recent inpatient hematology oncology experience (within last 12 months)
• Medical-surgical experience required
• BLS certification (current)
• ONS/ONCC Chemotherapy certification (required)
• ACLS certification (preferred)
• Epic charting experience required
• Documented experience with leukemia/blood dyscrasias, lymphoma, and multiple myeloma
• Graduation from ACEN or CCNE accredited nursing program
• Proficiency in telemetry monitoring, dysrhythmia interpretation, chemotherapy administration, blood product administration, central line management, PICC care, and feeding tube management
• 2 professional references required (at least one from manager/director or formal leadership)
