Restaurant Controller Needed for Multi-Unit Chain Restaurant

Core Responsibilities

• Financial Reporting & Analysis : Prepare and analyze financial statements, including profit & loss (P&L), balance sheets, and cash flow reports Indeed.
• Accounting Oversight : Manage the general ledger, accounts payable, accounts receivable, and payroll systems Indeed.
• Budgeting & Forecasting : Develop budgets, track variances, and create financial projections to support strategic decisions Indeed.
• Tax Compliance : Oversee preparation and filing of local, state, and federal tax returns Indeed.
• Internal Controls : Implement and monitor controls to ensure accuracy, integrity, and compliance Indeed.
• Audit Support : Lead or coordinate internal and external audits Indeed.
• POS & System Management : Work with restaurant point-of-sale and payroll systems to ensure data accuracy Indeed.
• Coordination : Collaborate with restaurant managers and ownership to improve financial controls and reporting Indeed.

Controller will oversee 58 locations and report to CFO

CPA experience is a plus, but not required

Bachelor's degree in finance or accounting is preferred

Experience in a multi-unit role is preferred
