This position is fully remote, allowing you to work from the comfort of your home while still being part of a cooperative and supportive team. Collaborative tools and virtual platforms will be utilized to ensure effective communication among team members and to provide seamless service delivery to clients. As a vital member of our community health clinic, you will also participate in regular meetings and training sessions to continuously improve our service offerings.

Key Responsibilities\n

• Conduct thorough assessments and gather comprehensive information about clients' circumstances, needs, and goals.

• Provide support and crisis intervention via phone and virtual consultations, ensuring a safe and reassuring environment for clients during challenging times.

• Facilitate referrals to appropriate agencies and resources that can further assist clients in their recovery or coping processes.
\n
• Engage clients in therapeutic activities that promote personal growth and resilience, adapting methods to meet individual needs and circumstances.

• Maintain accurate documentation of client interactions, including assessments, treatment plans, and progress notes in compliance with organizational and legal standards.

• Stay vigilant for signs of child abuse and other critical issues, following established protocols for reporting and intervention.

• Participate actively in team training and supervision sessions to develop skills and share insights with colleagues.
\n
• Foster a strong therapeutic alliance with clients, maintaining sensitivity to their emotional states and backgrounds.

Patient Population / Client Focus\n

You will primarily work with individuals and families who are experiencing various forms of distress related to mental health challenges, trauma, and socioeconomic factors. The client demographics in Thornton, Colorado, are diverse, and you will have the opportunity to make significant contributions to improving mental health outcomes within these groups. Your expertise will be essential in addressing issues of neglect, domestic violence, and systemic barriers facing clients in our community.

Qualifications\n

• A Master's degree in Social Work (MSW) or a related field is required.

• Must possess a current LCSW license in the state of Colorado.

• Minimum of 2 years of experience providing clinical social work services, with a preference for experience within community health settings.

• Exceptional verbal and written communication skills, with the ability to convey complex information clearly and effectively.

• Strong organizational skills and the ability to manage multiple client cases while adhering to best practices.

• Demonstrable competence in crisis intervention techniques and treatment modalities relevant to the populations served.

Preferred Experience\n

Compensation and Benefits\n
