Description American Traveler is hiring an experienced RN for an Emergency Department position requiring critical care background and the ability to float between ICU and Telemetry. Details 13-week travel assignment in the Emergency Services department Day shift schedule from 07:00-19:30 Requires floating between ICU and Telemetry units Involves strip interpretation and titration of drips Requirements Active and valid IL RN license required Current BLS and ACLS certifications required Minimum of one year of experience as a staff RN in acute care/critical care hospital setting CCRN certification preferred PALS and NIHSS certifications may be required DCI/BVP (Workplace Violence Prevention) certification required Additional Information Deliver direct patient care using the nursing process of assessment, planning, implementation, and evaluation Direct and guide patient/family teaching and oversee activities of other nursing personnel Communicate with physicians regarding changes in patient condition, hemodynamic monitoring, and diagnostic results Respond quickly and accurately to changes in patient condition or treatment response Maintain patient privacy and confidentiality at all times Accepts local candidates These details are based on information provided by the facility and may include inaccuracies or be subject to updates.
