Implement individualized speech therapy sessions targeting language, fluency, voice, and swallowing improvements. Work collaboratively with an interdisciplinary team, including physical and occupational therapists, physicians, nurses, caregivers, and families, to ensure a holistic approach to patient care. Educate patients and their families, providing resources and strategies to promote advancement beyond therapy sessions. Occasionally assist with inpatient evaluations and interventions, ensuring a seamless experience throughout the care continuum. Deliver timely and accurate documentation in accordance with relevant guidelines at state, federal, and organizational levels. Engage in continual professional development and knowledge sharing with peers. A Master's degree in Speech-Language Pathology from a recognized institution. Completion of a supervised Clinical Fellowship Year (CFY) if not currently ASHA-certified. Possess state licensure as a Speech Language Pathologist. Preferred: ASHA Certificate of Clinical Competence (CCC-SLP). Required: Basic Life Support (BLS) certification to be completed within 30 days of hire. Expertise in evidence-driven treatment methodologies for a wide age spectrum, with a comprehensive understanding of developmental and acquired communication disorders. Exceptional communication abilities with patients, families, and multidisciplinary teams. Ability to tailor therapy approaches to accommodate various cultural and linguistic backgrounds.
