Qualifications:
- Master’s degree or higher in School Psychology from an accredited program
- Valid state certification/licensure as a School Psychologist
- Knowledge of psychological assessments, intervention methods, and current best practices in school psychology
- Strong communication and collaboration skills to partner with teachers, parents, and support staff
- Ability to interpret data and develop actionable plans for student success
- Prior experience in a school or educational setting preferred
Responsibilities:
- Conduct comprehensive psychological evaluations for students, including cognitive, academic, behavioral, emotional, and social assessments
- Develop, implement, and monitor individualized education plans (IEPs) and interventions
- Provide direct counseling and crisis intervention services for students as needed
- Participate in multi-disciplinary teams to support student achievement and positive school climate
- Consult with teachers, parents, and administrators regarding classroom strategies, behavior management, and support services
- Maintain thorough documentation and ensure compliance with state and federal education mandates
