Accounting Manager, Carbondale CO

Permanent, Direct-Hire position with Excellent Benefits package.

Accounting Manager Details:

• Direct Hire position
• $ 103,645.00 to $ 130,713.00 / annually
• Full Time work available
• First Shift (Monday through Friday from 08:00am to 05:00pm)

• Proficient in accounting principles, practices, and standards, including GAAP.
• Proficient in accounts payable, accounts receivable, payroll, cash management, treasury operations, and general ledger accounting.
• Proficient in financial reporting, auditing, regulatory requirements, and internal controls.
• Proficient in federal, state, and local requirements related to accounting, payroll, and financial transactions.
• Proficient in financial management systems, general ledger software, and Microsoft Office, particularly Excel. (Workday exp preferred)
• Proficient in banking and treasury practices, including electronic fund transfers, wire transactions, investments, and bank reconciliations.
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with the ability to identify discrepancies, assess risks, and develop effective solutions.
• Strong attention to detail and accuracy
• Effective written and verbal communication
• Leadership, supervision, coaching, and employee development.
• Ability to manage multiple priorities, meet deadlines, and adapt to changing systems, regulations, and organizational priorities.

Accounting Manager Qualifications:

• Bachelor's degree in accounting, auditing, finance, or a related field, or an equivalent combination of education, coursework, and relevant experience.
• Minimum of five (5) years of progressively responsible accounting or auditing experience.
• Minimum of five (5) years of supervisory or management experience.
• Experience overseeing payroll, accounts payable, accounts receivable, cash management, and treasury functions.
• Experience with financial audits, regulatory reporting, and internal controls.
• Workday experience preferred.
