Make a meaningful impact in K-12 education as a contract Speech-Language Pathologist three days per week during the 2026-2027 school year. This opportunity near Marietta, GA involves collaborating with supportive teams and serving diverse students across elementary, middle, and high school. Your expertise will help shape brighter futures for learners with speech and language challenges.
Qualifications & Desired Experience:
- Valid Speech-Language Pathology license in Georgia
- Certificate of Clinical Competence in Speech-Language Pathology (CCC-SLP)
- School-based or pediatric SLP experience strongly preferred
- Expertise in evaluating and diagnosing speech and language disorders in children and adolescents
- Excellent communication, organization, and collaboration skills
- Commitment to delivering evidence-based and confidential therapy
Key Responsibilities:
- Perform thorough assessments and diagnoses for students with suspected speech and language disorders
- Develop, implement, and update individualized treatment plans tailored to each student’s needs
- Provide direct speech-language therapy in both individual and small group settings
- Collaborate with teachers, staff, and families to support student progress and IEP goals
- Maintain accurate documentation, progress notes, and reports in compliance with district and state guidelines
- Contribute positively to the school environment through professional engagement
