Job Overview In this role, you will be responsible for coating surfaces of aerospace parts, assemblies, and finished products with protective or decorative materials. You will use a spray gun, brush, or roller to apply paints, varnishes, enamels, lacquers, dopes, and stains. You'll also select and mix coating materials and ensure quality control in accordance with statistical or other procedures. Requirements

- 2 - 5 years of experience in aerospace paint application.
- Ability to review and interpret drawings for masking and paint/primer application.
- Experience in the application of aerospace coatings such as BR127 and Z307.
- Ability to lift 50 lbs.
- Certification eligibility for half face respirator use.
- Basic surface preparation using abrasive blast media.
- US Citizenship required.
- Experience with BR127 primer.
- Experience in etching aluminum surfaces using P2 or FPL etchant.
- Experience in mixing chemical etchant baths and chemical titration.
- Extensive experience in application of BR127 and BR127NC for bonding purposes.
- Material preparation and surface coatings experience.
