Our mission is to inspire, prepare, and ensure the success of our students through individualized education and support.We are seeking a HR Specialist who is dedicated, compassionate, and ready to bring their expertise and heart into a school that values innovation, support, and collaboration.What You'll DoManage the full recruitment process, including posting jobs, screening candidates, conducting interviews, and completing onboarding documentation for new hires.Maintain accurate and up-to-date personnel records, track staff certifications, and ensure compliance with employment laws and organizational policies.Oversee benefits administration, including health insurance, 401(k), pension, FSA plans, and annual ACA reporting.Handle payroll processes by reviewing timesheets and deductions, and manage employee relations issues such as policy violations, workplace concerns, and disciplinary actions.What We're Looking ForHRCI, SHRM, or other accredited HR certification preferred.Bachelor's Degree in HR, Sociology, Psychology, or a related field; Master's preferred.3+ years of experience in HR, preferably in an educational setting.Ability to maintain confidentiality, handle multiple tasks at once, and exercise discretion.Excellent technological skills with payroll and staff management systems, including Paylocity.Deep understanding of HR issues, practices, and state, industry, and federal regulations.Why You'll Love Working HereCompetitive salary commensurate with experienceComprehensive health and dental insurance401(k) with matching contributionsGenerous paid time offTuition reimbursement for continued educationIf you're ready to be part of something bigger, apply today by completing our online application at Please ensure to include any necessary documents, such as certifications or a list of professional references.Newmark School is an equal opportunity employer.
