Details Surgical and Neuroscience Intensive Care Unit (B2) setting Cares for trauma, surgical, and neurological ICU patients Day shift schedule from 7:00 AM to 7:30 PM 13-week assignment length Every other weekend required Rotating holiday coverage required Uses Epic EMR system Requirements Active NY RN license required BLS certification from AHA or RQI required Minimum 2 years of recent ICU experience required in trauma, surgical, and neurological ICU patient care Trauma Level One experience required Epic EMR experience required Previous travel nursing experience required No employment gaps of 90 days or more within the past 12 months US Social Security Number required Medical exemption (signed by licensed professional) required for flu vaccine exemption if applicable Additional Information Navy blue scrubs required Competency test required within 24 hours of submission, sent via email No more than 3 call outs allowed within a 13-week period; make-up shifts must be completed within 6 weeks of the last call out No blocked scheduling permitted RTO must be requested at the time of consideration Local candidates residing within a 50-mile radius in specific counties (Albany, Columbia, Dutchess, Fulton, Greene, Montgomery, Rensselaer, Saratoga, Schenectady, Ulster, Warren, and Washington) are not eligible 48-hour work weeks may be available for interested candidates American Traveler Job ID P-749787.
