Account Manager/Specialty Account Manager - IgG4 - Rare Disease, Pittsburgh, PA

Amgen seeks an Account Manager or Specialty Account Manager to promote IgG4-related rare disease products to healthcare professionals and establish sales in an assigned territory. The role involves territory management, physician education, and cross-functional collaboration to improve patient outcomes while maintaining compliance.

Responsibilities

• Achieve assigned sales objectives through patient-centered disease and product education to healthcare providers
• Execute marketing plan goals via strategic account business plans and territory management
• Establish and maintain relationships with key opinion leaders and healthcare institutions across academic, private, and community settings
• Develop and maintain clinical and scientific expertise in IgG4-related disease and therapeutic areas
• Collaborate across matrix environment including case managers, medical affairs, and patient access teams

Requirements

• Bachelor's degree and 3+ years pharma/biotech/medical device sales experience (or equivalent with associate/high school diploma)
• 7+ years biotech, specialty pharmaceutical, or rare disease sales experience preferred
• 3+ years rare disease, orphan drug, or ultra-orphan drug sales experience strongly preferred
• 3+ years in-office injection/infusion product sales with patient access coordination
• Experience in immunology, rheumatology, or gastroenterology preferred
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office and strong analytical and communication skills
• Ability to travel 20-30% including overnight and weekend commitments
