Maintenance Tech

Maintenance Department SupportThis position provides support and upkeep for all activities of the Maintenance department, completing all assignments as required.Main Duties and Responsibilities:Performs routine maintenance on grounds, building, and machinery as required.Inspects and identifies any needed repairs, replacements, or maintenance issues.Assists with repairs on forklifts, pickers, golf carts, air compressors, and delivery vehiclesMaintains facility parking lots, fencing, and general appearance and upkeep.Loads/unloads trucks with large items as requested.Fills in for warehousing staff on an as needed basis.May be required to drive company vehicles for various tasks.Sets up & tears down at Company shows and special events.Cleans work areas on a daily basis, decluttering as needed.Performs other duties as assigned.Job Requirements:High school diploma, or GED equivalent needed. Any further education/experience in the maintenance area preferred.Must maintain a positive attitude, with a customer service focus in a fast-paced work environment.Use of forklift trucks & order pickers experience preferred but will train.Should possess ability to multi-task, manage time effectively, and prioritize tasks.Should be detail-oriented, focused, driven, and a self-starter.Strong interpersonal, communication, problem solving, and organizational skills.Knowledge of general carpentry, and repairs needed.Should have ability to use hand and power tools.One year of maintenance experience and a valid driver's license needed for driving company vehicles.Shift:Mon-Fri, Day ShiftBenefits:Medical, dental, and vision insurances401k plan, with 4% employer matching upon meeting eligibility requirementsEmployer paid life insuranceVoluntary benefits-Supplemental life, cancer, accident, etc.PTO, 6 Paid HolidaysWorking Conditions/Physical Requirements:Job will include periods of standing, walking, reaching, stooping/kneeling, and bending. Stair climbing and walking on uneven surfaces will also be present. Subject to heat/cold conditions in outside conditions. Moderate use of hands and arms will be needed. May be required to lift to 50 lbs. by self, or team lift to 100 lbs. Use of mechanical lifts required for heavier orders.
